VIDEO: David Tennant & The DuckTales Cast Attempt Donald Duck's Voice



Disney's all-new DuckTales splashed down on Disney XD in the USA and Canada last week and was met with great critical approval, introducing a whole new generation of fans to the daredevil exploits of a family of adventuring ducks. One big thumbs up from viewers young and old was the inclusion of Donald Duck as a main character, voiced by the same actor as in the original 1987 version of the show, Tony Anselmo.

The cast of the reboot attended San Diego Comic Con last month to promote the show, and during their press calls David Tennant and his co-stars Toks Olagundoye and Beck Bennett had a crack at Donald's iconic voice - with disturbing results! Watch below:




DuckTales launched with an hour long special on Disney XD last weekend in the USA and Canada. If you missed it, you can catch re-runs on Disney XD next week, and US fans can watch the whole episode for free via YouTube. The series proper launches from September 23rd.

The launch date for other countries, includng the UK and Australia, has yet to be announced - we'll post it here as soon as we're informed
