RADIO CLASSIC: Revisit David Tennant's Radio Sitcom Double Income No Kids Yet

BBC Radio 4 Extra begins a welcome rerun of David Tennant's early radio sitcom Double Income No Kids Yet, starting this Thursday. The comedy was written by David Spicer and ran for three series on BBC 7 between 2001-2003, following the highs and lows in the lives of a young, childless professional couple, Daniel and Lucy (David Tennant and Elizabeth Carling).

BBC Radio is available around the world, so it's the perfect chance to catch up with an old favourite, or for newer fans to hear one of David's best-loved early works.

In the first episode, Daniel's 30th birthday is approaching so Lucy tries to soften the blow by throwing a big old school party - but all their friends seem to be tied up with children. Tony Gardner and Meera Syal co-star as Dan and Lucy's best friends Andy and Katie.
Listen on Thursday 31st August at 7am and 5pm BST or at 5am on Friday morning.
