GAMES NEWS: David Tennant To Star In Call Of Duty: WWII Zombie Mode

It has just been revealed that David Tennant will be one of the voice stars of the Nazi Zombies game mode of the upcoming Sledgehammer Games release Call Of Duty: WWII. The game is the fourteenth installment of the first-person shooter franchise and will be released worldwide for Playstation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on November 3rd 2017.

While the main game will be set within the Second World War, the Zombies game mode is set in an alternate history with its own storyline, where the Allied Forces are battling a zombie army created by the Third Reich. The developers describe it as more gruesome and terrifying than ever before as the dark and chilling mode heads in a unique new direction with the addition of Co-Op mode.

David's character has been named by the official Call Of Duty Twitter feed as Drostan Hynd, and is the first of the high profile names voicing the game to be unveiled. The full world reveal of Zombies mode will take place during the dedicated Call Of Duty: WWII Nazi Zombies World Reveal panel at 11.45am on 20th July at San Diego Comic Con (Room 6BCF). If you're at the event don't miss the opportunity to be the first to see Zombies mode in all of its glory and meet members of the development team and some of the cast of Hollywood actors (please note that David has not been confirmed as a panel member).
