VIDEO: Children In Need Appeal - David Tennant Narrates Robbie & Rosie's Story

The BBC's annual fundraiser Children In Need took place last night with a marathon broadcast across BBC One and Two. The charity aims to raise funds for around 2500 projects that support disadvantaged children across the UK.

As in other years, the appeal show was packed with musical and comedy performances and exclusive special features, but along with the fun it also included plenty of reminders about why it's so important to donate. Among the video appeals was one narrated by David Tennant.

David narrated the heartbreaking story of Robbie and Rosie, a brother and sister born with the life limiting condition Infantile Batten's Disease. David's clip described the support that the children and their parents received from Robin House Children's Hospice in Balloch, Scotland, including their end of life care.

The money raised by Children In Need goes to fund projects like this Hospice and many more projects, services and activities around the country.
