David Tennant In Time Machine In Studio 16 - More Info On The Channel 4 Pilot

As we informed our followers on Twitter on Friday night, David Tennant took part in the recording of the pilot episode of Richard Osman's new show, Time Machine In Studio 16, a new series optioned by Channel 4.

The nostalgia format quiz show, Time Machine from Studio 16, is produced by Fremantle Media UK indie Talkback and tests star guests’ knowledge of 1980s and 90s pop culture. Richard Osman, co-host of the BBC's Pointless, chairs a comedic journey through time as he hosts a new show for Channel 4 which features a real-life time machine! Richard asks questions to a panel, which will include character comedians who emerged in the 80s, 90s and noughties, on topics including pop videos, classic toys and retro teenage pin-ups.

As well as David it’s understood that comedians Jon Richardson and Roisin Conaty took part along with Jamie Demetriou, Tom Davis, Ellie White and John Kearns.

The recording on Friday night was for a non-TX pilot, meaning that Channel 4 do not currently plan to broadcast the episode. However, should this change we’ll let you know as soon as we have any broadcast details - watch this space!
