JAPAN: What We Did On Our Holiday To Premiere In Cinemas This Autumn

The hilarious BBC Films comedy What We Did On Our Holiday is due to open in cinemas in Japan this autumn.

David Tennant and Rosamund Pike star as Doug and Abi McLeod, the beleagured parents of three young children who are currently going through a bitter divorce. However, they put their differences aside to travel to Scotland to celebrate the birthday of Doug's dad Gordie (Billy Connolly). As Gordie has been unwell they don't want the rest of the family to know about their split, but can they rely on the kids to keep the secret? However, on the day of the party an unexpected event means that the family have to pull together to save what they hold most dear.

What We Did On Our Holiday is written and directed by Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton. It also stars Ben Miller, Amelia Bullmore and Celia Imrie with Emilia Jones, Bobby Smalldridge and Harriet Turnbull as the three McLeod children. The movie was originally released in the UK in September 2014.
