David Tennant Signs Broadchurch Script For Charity Auction

Fancy getting your hands on a top piece of TV memorabilia from one of the UK's best and most talked about dramas? Here's your chance: Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall has donated a shooting script from the series signed by David Tennant himself to a new fundraiser for UK based charity Anno's Africa. The script is from episode 8 of the first series of the award winning murder mystery.

Anno's Africa offers an alternative, arts education to orphans and vulnerable children in some of Africa’s most desperately deprived city slums. Many of the children participating in the programmes live rough on the streets or in appalling makeshift accommodation, are forced to scavenge on tips to make a living and are vulnerable to serious disease. The charity links in with other charity schools to provide alternative learning opportunities which enrich the very basic eduction that children receive and to allow them to develop their talents, confidence and life skills through art, drama and dance and to open up career opportunities to them that might otherwise remain forever out of reach.

Other items donated to the fundraising auction include a signed Spencer Hart suit donated by Benedict Cumberbatch and Daniel Craig's signed Skyfall shirt.

Details on how to bid will be announced soon. In the meantime keep an eye out for more updates and for news of other great swag going up for auction.boy following Anno's Africa on Twitter at @Annos_Africa or via their Facebook page and helping them to spread the word.

Many thanks to Emma Frost for getting in touch.
