Broadchurch Nominated For South Bank Sky Arts Award

Broadchurch has been shortlisted in the TV Drama category in the 2014 South Bank Sky Arts Awards. The Sky Arts awards are the only ones to celebrate the UK's achievements across all genres of the arts.

The critically praised ITV drama Broadchurch starred David Tennant and Olivia Colman and explored the effects of the murder of a child on a tiny seaside community. It is nominated alongside The Fall and Top Of The Lake (both BBC Two).

“Once again, the list of nominees for the South Bank Sky Arts Awards shows that the UK arts landscape is as vibrant as ever. Its vital to honour the excellence of artists, performers, musicians and authors especially at this time, and were very glad that we can do this,” said Melvyn Bragg.

The awards will be presented by Melyvn Bragg at a ceremony on Monday 27 January at the Dorchester Hotel in London. The ceremony will be broadcast on Sky Arts 1 on Thursday 30 January 2014 at 9.30pm.
