David's Doctor Who Costumes To Go For Auction



Several of the costumes worn by David Tennant during Series Three of Doctor Who are due to come under the hammer soon at Bonhams auction house in Knightsbridge, London. The costumes are all from the Human Nature / Family Of Blood two-part story that saw the Doctor hiding out from an alien threat by taking human form and living as schoolteacher John Smith in England during 1913.

The lots include John Smith’s teaching clothes, his suit, an outdoor coat and hat and his pyjamas and dressing gown. The auction also includes costumes worn by other characters during David’s tenure as the Doctor, plus items relating to stories featuring Chris Eccleston and Matt Smith in the role.

The auction takes place at Bonhams in Knightsbridge on December 15th 2011, starting at 1pm. For a look at all the items in the sale, check the Bonhams website. David’s items start from Lot 173.
